Null Space

Sunday, July 29th; ??????

“This isn’t where we were meant to end up!” Sonic said.

“Gee, ya think?!” Hiccup asked in an annoyed tone.

“We should be getting back! Let’s hope everyone is doing well!” Raptors said.

The three of them all prepared for a boost; then, after they gave each other a high five, Hiccup yelled “POWER BOOST!”, and they immediately tripled their speed and headed for the exit. They all made it out, once they did, Sonic radioed to the rest of the resistance “Sup everyone? I missed this place!”. Renamon radioed to Hiccup saying “What happened, Hiccup? You guys just up and disappeared for nearly two hours!”, then Hiccup shouted “TWO HOURS?!” in shock.

“We can’t waste anymore time! We have to find Eggman and bring him down NOW!” Raptors said sternly. Sonic and Hiccup both nodded in agreement and they took off in search for Eggman; and, once they did, they were greeted by the Egg Dragoon. Eggman charged up the drill on the Egg Dragoon’s arm; and, just as he fired it, the three of them scattered and attacked in different directions. Sonic went for the chest of the machine with a homing attack, Hiccup used his Neptune Geyser technique to conceal the Egg Dragoon in a pillar of ice; finally, Raptors used the arms of his scarf to cut the ice below the Egg Dragoon, then jumped above it, grabbed the head of it, and slammed the entire thing against a building.

“WHOA-HO-HO!! I’ve GOT to learn how to do that!” Hiccup said in excitement.

“This isn’t over, rodents! My plan is still underway, and there’s nothing that you or your resistance pests can do about it!” Eggman said as he flew off.

Resistance HQ

Sunday, July 29th; 6:30 p.m.

The entire resistance was in the meeting hall talking amongst themselves, when Knuckles spoke into a microphone saying “Alright, listen up everyone! Eggman is planning to launch hi plan tomorrow at 10 am! I want EVERYONE to be awake and ready for battle by 6! Get some rest, because tomorrow....WE END EGGMAN’S REIGN ONCE AND FOR ALL!!”, then the entire resistance cheered and went off to bed. Everyone was asleep except Hiccup, he thought to himself, “I can’t get my mind off of the fact that if we win, we leave to go back home! I mean, I know I belong there; but I feel like a part of me says that THIS is my home! I feel so connected with everyone here, like they’re my family; but, if I stay here, what would Renamon do? Where would she go? What would happen to everyone else?”. It wasn’t until 8:30 p.m. when he got out of bet and did the unthinkable.

Eggman Empire Fortress

Sunday, July 29th; 9:00 p.m.

Hiccup had ran all the way to the entrance without sounding the alarm; and, once he made it, he hacked the front door security and opened it. He quietly went around searching for the other copies of Infinite, when he found them, he went around destroying all of the Phantom Ruby prototypes on them. When he crushed the last one, he absorbed it’s energy; however....

[INTRUDER ALERT!! INTRUDER ALERT!!]

The alarm sounded and Hiccup was immediately surrounded, then the real Infinite floated down saying “Well well well, look what we have here! A poor, lonely child! Too bad your friends aren’t here to save you now!”. Hiccup was knocked out by getting hit in the head by one of the Egg-Pawns, then he woke up, chained up on a experiment table. Hiccup looked around and saw Eggman entering codes into his computer, then Infinite slammed Hiccup’s head back down on the table and said “Hello again! I bet you’re wondering why you’re chained up on this table! Well, you’ll see soon enough, and don’t worry! It doesn’t hurt....MUCH!”. Eggman activated a device and it immediately began electrocuting Hiccup, making him squirm and scream in immense pain, suddenly....

[SYSTEM ERROR!! EXTRACTOR MALFUNCTIONING!! DANGER!! COMPUTER SYSTEMS OVERLOADING!!]

The device began to break, and when it broke, Hiccup passed out. Eggman and Infinite tried to wake him up; but, no matter how hard they tried, Hiccup couldn’t wake up.

“I have an idea!” Infinite said. He immediately began discussing his plan to Eggman.

~~The Next Morning~~

Resistance HQ

Monday, July 30th; 6:00 a.m.

Everyone was wide awake and ready to go, then Renamon ran over to Sonic and frantically asked “Have you seen Hiccup anywhere?”. Sonic replied “I thought he was with you!”, then Renamon hyperventilated for a second and said “He was, but now I can’t find him anywhere! I’m worried about him, Sonic! What if he gets hurt?”. Sonic reassured Renamon and said “Hey, it’s okay! Relax! He probably got a head start so he could make things easier for us!”; and as Renamon calmed down, she said “You’re right! He could be fighting off Infinite as we know it!”. They continued on to the Eggman Empire Fortress; however, once they got there, they were greeted by Infinite.

“Hey, Infinite! Are you ready to get your mask kicked into the dirt?” Sonic asked in a cocky attitude.

“I would think twice before doing something rash!” Infinite said as he snapped his fingers. Hiccup was carried in by some Egg-Pawns, chained up from the neck down. Renamon shuddered in fear and yelled “HICCUP!!”, then Infinite picked him up and held him by the chains. Raptors scolded “If you hurt ONE QUILL ON THAT BOYS’ HEAD, I’LL MAKE YOU REGRET YOUR LIFE!!”, then Infinite toyed with them by plucking one of Hiccup’s quills. Sonic, Renamon, and the others simultaneously screamed “THAT’S IT!”; and they immediately attacked Infinite. They didn’t make it as Infinite used a pulse from the Phantom Ruby to push them away, then he set Hiccup down and said “Here, take him! He won’t wake up anyways!”. Just before Infinite attacked the others, Convexity tackles Infinite and yells “I’LL TEAR YOU LIMB-FROM-LIMB UNTIL YOU BLEED OUT YOUR INTESTINES!!”; however, Infinite knocked her off and held out his hands. He charged up his attacks and aimed at everyone, suddenly....

*SMASH!*

The chains holding Hiccup were broken, and Hiccup was nowhere to be seen, until Infinite turned around in a full 360 degrees and saw 2 crimson-red eyes. Hiccup then punched Infinite through the Fortress building and, roughly around, 5 miles further. Hiccup landed in front of the resistance; however, something seemed....frightening about him. Infinite flew back and fired 2 attacks at him, but Hiccup dodged both of them without even looking.

“You arrogant little....TAKE THIS!!” Infinite screamed as he charged at Hiccup. Hiccup kept his head down; yet, somehow, dodged Infinite’s attack, grabbed Infinite by the arm with his left hand, took hold of the back of his head with his right hand; and, finally, bashed Infinite’s mask straight into the ground. The amount of force that Hiccup used made a 10-mile wide crater, then tossed Infinite up 2 feet before spin-kicking him 18 feet more. The entire resistance was stunned at how much power Hiccup had attained, then Hiccup positioned himself into a familiar pose.

“KAAAA........” Hiccup said with an echo. Everyone was unsure as to what Hiccup was doing, until the wind began rushing toward Hiccup like a vacuum. Hiccup continued “........MEEEEEEE........”, then Goku asked “Hey, Vegeta! Is he doing what I think he’s doing?”, and Vegeta answered “There’s no doubt about it!”. Hiccup continued “........HAAAAAA........”, then Infinite tried to intrude on Hiccup’s attack by firing 20 red cubes at him; however, without looking, Hiccup used the red cubes as footing to get closer to Infinite. When he got to the 10th cube, he continued “........MEEEEEE........”, then Infinite panicked and began making a massive red cube. Before Infinite threw it at Hiccup, he yelled “I WILL END YOU!! EVEN IF IT MEANS THAT I HAVE TO END THIS DAMN PLANET!! TAKE THIS!!”, then he threw it directly at Hiccup. The cube didn’t even do anything as Hiccup just dashed straight through the cube in a microsecond, then Hiccup finally finished by firing a 50-foot wide energy beam, point-blank, at Infinite while screaming “........EEEIIIYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!”.

A few minutes went by, and dust and smoke from the attack had finally cleared. Off in the distance, there was a red visible glow, then Renamon began running towards it calling out “HICCUP!! ARE YOU OKAY?!”. Renamon managed to reach get to Hiccup; but, before she took another step, she felt uneasy and asked “H-Hiccup? Is....is that....you?”. Hiccup reverted back to his normal state, then fell on his knees in exhaustion. At that moment, Renamon rushed to his aid and asked “Are you Okay? What happened?”, suddenly, Convexity answered Renamon by saying “THAT was a Kameamea wave! It’s Goku’s signature attack!”. Eggman then floated down on his Eggmobile and said “That boy never ceases to surprise me! I never thought Infinite could lose! Don’t think that this is over you resistance scum, because my plan has just gone into overtime!”.

*KRACKA-BOOM!!*

Suddenly, Eggman’s Fortress began to explode. Eggman turned around and yelled “WHAT? WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!”, then Hiccup spoke up “(Cough) just as I planned....”. Eggman and Renamon simultaneously asked “What on Earth are you talking about?”, then Hiccup continued “....last night, I infiltrated Eggman’s base to destroy the other Phantom Rubies on the other Infinite’s! Just as I had hoped, Infinite saw me, sounded the alarm, captured me, and used me as bait! I wasn’t expecting him to actually go so far as to try and kill you guys; but, when he was just about to kill you guys, I snapped! I turned into that form....I think I’ll call it ‘Crimson Devil’!”

“How does that explain the fact that MY FORTRESS IS BLOWING UP?!!!” Eggman scolded.

“Easy....I was merely the distraction! While I was fighting Infinite, Sonic and Raptors went into the fortress reactor and destroyed it!” Hiccup replied. Without saying anything, Eggman flew off toward his fortress, then Sonic and Raptors landed. Elf, Issei, Goku, Vegeta, Convexity, Renamon, Hiccup, Classic Sonic, and Tails all met up with them.

“We did it! Egghead’s army is officially butt-kicked! We won!” Sonic said.

“Not yet, we haven’t!” Raptors said as he turned around.

An ENORMOUS mech appeared from the fortress; then, from inside, Eggman yelled “GOTCHA!! The fortress reactor was just a decoy! A true winner always keeps his trump-cards hidden until the end!”

“You never seem to learn, do you Eggman?” Hiccup asked.

“What?” Eggman asked.

“Mech, No Mech! Fortress, No Fortress! Empire, No Empire! No matter how hard you try, you always....ALWAYS end up in the same situation; with you wallowing in sadness and rotting in a pile of broken, trashed, USELESS, WITHERED ROBOTIC SCRAPS!! IT’S THE WAY YOU’VE ENDED UP BEFORE, AND IT’S THE WAY YOU’RE GONNA END UP NOW!!” Hiccup scolded angrily. After Hiccup had finished, everyone except Tails had gathered behind Hiccup, ready to fight! Hiccup turned to look at them and said “Let’s end this!”, then they all ran towards the Mech.
